Required ports for Communication

Description of the problem

steadyPRINT needs a range of shared ports for the communication with different systems.

Solution

Ports for database communication
For the communication of steadyPRINT with a SQL database, the following ports are to be activated in the firewall:
– Incoming 1433; Protocol TCP
– Incoming 1434; Protocol UDP
Ports for communication between steadyPRINT components
For the communication of the different steadyPRINT components among each other, the following ports have to be activated in the firewall:
– steadyPRINT Service: Incoming 8009; Protocol TCP
– steadyPRINT Server: Incoming 8008; Protocol TCP
These ports can be adjusted in the settings of the steadyPRINT Center under File > Settings > General > Notifications .
