After user login, the steadyPRINT Agent automatically appears in the foreground

Description of the problem

During installation, the installation routine enters two different autostart values to the Windows registry.

As a result, the Agent is invoked twice during the login process. Depending on the environment, this can lead to the steadyPRINT Agent appearing in the foreground after login.

Solution

Below you will find a list of the registry entries with which you can configure the autostart process. Remove or add the file “pmp.exe” – as needed – together with the steadyPRINT installation path.

Necessary for terminal servers: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit

Necessary for workstations:
– HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/steadyPRINT Agent (users only)

-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/steadyPRINT Agent (all 32bit/64bit )
