Setting (share name) was not taken over

Description of the problem

I opened the properties of a printer via the steadyPRINT Center and changed the settings, or more precisely the share name, in the dialog. steadyPRINT, however, has not taken over the modified share name. Can you provide further assistance?

Solution

The steadyPRINT Center does not review settings that have been modified via the Windows owned windows. Therefore, the share name, for example, is obsolete once the changes are made.

The printer information can be manually verified via the context menu of the print server in the steadyPRINT Center. Once being sychronized the information should match again. An automatic and regular adjustment of Information between print Server and steadyPRINT can successfully be performed by the configuration of the settings under steadyPRINT > file > Settings > Center > define synchronization interval.
