Description of the problem

Scenario: The user logs in to a terminal server and receives the printer assignments. If the user then changes the workplace he receives different printer assignments based on the computer name.

The steadyPRINT Agent, however, is not able to properly adjust the printer assignment in the running session.

Solution

In a Citrix Environment, the policy below can provide for a transfer of all local printer connections and printers to the running session. Due to this fact, the steadyPRINT Agent cannot always guarantee the correct connection.

For a correct behaviour, the Citrix policy “automatically create client printers” has to be disabled.
