steadyPRINT 11.6:
E-INVOICE. IPP. AI.
With version 11.6, steadyPRINT continues to develop in several areas – while responding to changes that are currently of particular concern to businesses: Microsoft is paving the way for a new generation of Windows printing. E-invoicing is placing new demands on existing processes and systems. And AI is opening up new possibilities in administration as well.
In the next episode of our TECH/n/HOP webcast series, which will be entirely dedicated to the new version, we’ll take a look at what’s already possible today with steadyPRINT 11.6—and where the journey is headed.
E-invoicing presents companies with new challenges. However, you don’t need to implement a new ERP system or completely overhaul your existing invoicing processes.
With steadyPRINT, you can integrate e-invoicing into your existing system landscape. Your current ERP system continues to generate invoices as usual. steadyPRINT analyzes the document, extracts the relevant invoice data, and automatically generates a structured e-invoice from it.
This way, you retain your proven systems and processes—while reducing effort, transition time, and costs.
E-invoice – expand, don’t replace.
Windows Ready Print, IPP & WPP – Windows printing is changing.
Microsoft is fundamentally reshaping Windows printing. With Windows Ready Print and Windows Protected Print Mode, Windows is moving toward open, standardized protocols such as IPP in combination with Mopria instead of manufacturer-specific drivers.
For companies, this has a direct impact on existing print infrastructures: legacy drivers, device-specific features, and existing printing concepts need to be reassessed.
steadyPRINT helps companies manage this transition in a structured and controlled manner.
With version 11.6, an AI chatbot is being introduced to the steadyPRINT WebCenter for the first time. This allows printer assignments to be generated simply by entering text—for example, directly based on a support request. This is the first concrete use case, with more to follow.
AI in steadyPRINT—we’ve taken the first step.
Release Notes.
And under the surface? There have been quite a few changes there as well: new features in WebCenter, enhancements for workflows and VPD, improvements related to IPP, and many minor optimizations for administration and day-to-day operations. Even beyond the major updates, steadyPRINT 11.6 has a lot to offer.
