With steadyPRINT SecurePrint, a document is not printed immediately after it is sent. The print job first goes to the user’s personal virtual SecurePrint queue.
Only when the user arrives at the desired printer does he or she authenticate and release the documents for printing. This ensures that the user is physically present and can collect the printout in person.
Confidential documents do not remain unattended in the output tray, and the risk of sensitive information being viewed by unauthorized persons or accidentally taken is significantly reduced.
