When deleting a printer connection, the printer driver is no longer deleted by default.
Background: When starting the steadyPRINT Agent, the administrator can adjust whether all printer connections should be cleared up once. At the same all printer drivers will be deleted unless they are used by another printer. In case the connections just deleted need the removed drivers, they have to be reloaded and reinstalled completely. To avoid this circumstance, an optional setting of this action is now possible. By default, no printer driver will be removed when deleting a printer connection. This function can optionally be activated via the Agent-profiles for workstations and terminal servers. |
