Error during printing – module could not be found

After the installation and setup of steadyPRINT, I would like to print a document via steadyPRINT VPD. Having selected the VPD printer in the vPrinter window, the printout does not come out of the specified printer. The print job is rejected. Description of the problem

With some client operating systems we realized that the steadyPRINT Agent is permanently offline.

Symptoms:

  • The steadyPRINT Agent is offline
  • The steadyPRINT Service is being performed
  • The credentials for the database connection are not hashed in the registry under computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\steadySUITE\steadyPRINT\PAS.
  • The PAS does not create a debug-log

Replication – Driver was not found and needs to be downloaded

Description of the problem

We have realized that with some drivers the error message „The specified printer driver was not found on the system and needs to be downloaded“ (error 3019) is displayed during the replication via the steadyPRINT Center. After a manual installation of the driver on the target system and the new printer replication, it works as usual. Could you provide further assistance?

Printer mappings under Win2008R2 terminal server

We are using the steadyPRINT Agent on a terminal server with Windows Server 2008 R2.
Printer assignments with vName, vPrinter and vDirect are created via the Agent and are visible for all users with s server session, but not for the assigned users.

Installation of 32 bit VPD printer driver to 64 bit print server

Description of the problem

We are in the process of installing the VPD printer driver to our 64 bit Windows print server. Currently we are facing the problem that the 32 bit steadyPRINT VPD driver cannot be installed.
The system is looking for the ntprint.inf that I cannot find locally or on the Windows DVD. The x64 driver can be installed without any problem. Can you provide further assistance?

Logging for FollowMe printing

The file log.xml is stored in the directory of the steadyPRINT FollowMe installation (with a default installation C:\Program Files (x86)\steadyPRINT\FollowMe).
This file determines the output path and the configuration of the log file (steadyPRINT.log) which is created in the output path.
