The steadyPRINT WebCenter provides a simple integration of macmon Network Access Control. After its successful installation, the macmon end device group membership can be controlled directly in the steadyPRINT WebCenter.

Configuration

In order to use the function, the data of  of the macmon server inlcuding its user has to be collected in the settings of the steadyPRINT WebCenter (see Figure: Configuration of the macmon server). For the user, this is an account defined by macmon which must have permission to interact with the macmon API.

Management of the end device group

If a macmon server is defined in the settings and the printer's MAC address is known, the end device group membership of the printer can be viewed via the button change macmon group (see figure: View macmon group).

If the group is edited and stored in the view (see figure: Edit macmon group), the change is transferred and implemented in a request to the macmon server via the macmon API .

 

Note

Authentication and authorization

             

If the login data of the macmon user are not valid or if the user has no full access to the API which can be configured in the macmon user administration, the change will be rejected from the macmon server.
