Printer is not reconnected after renaming

Description of the problem:

We have recently renamed a printer on the print server and noticed that it is now no longer reconnected on the Clients. Can you provide further assistance?



Solution:

If the renaming of the printer is directly done on the print server, the printer needs to be integrated again in the steadyPRINT Center and the assignment must be copied from the old printer to the new one.
Ideally, the printer is renamed via the steadyPRINT Center. This way, steadyPRINT is automatically informed of the change and the Clients are connecting the printer again.
