Modifications & Additions Description
steadyPRINT Center: Display adjustment for session assignments The session assignments now get a separate symbol for a better identification in the assignment view.
steadyPRINT Center: Performance improvement for loading all objects in the printing environment tree The performance of the steadyPRINT Center has been improved for all objects in the printing environment tree leading to a faster access and the display of the objects.
steadyPRINT VPD: Treatment of empty pages during the printing process The steadyPRINT VPD logic has been extended in such a way that pages without content are now automatically removed during the printing process.
steadyPRINT Center: Display of summary for respective object views In each detailed object view the steadyPRINT Center now has a summary area indicating the number of the respective types.
steadyPRINT Center: Adding the function “copy assignments” for printer assignments The new steadyPRINT Center now again allows you to copy and paste printer assignments in order to easily transfer them to another printer.
steadyPRINT Center: Extension of decimal places for page prices The steadyPRINT Center now allows five decimal places for the storage of the page price.
steadyPRINT Center: Warning when adding a Windows printer assignment to a printer that has not been shared The steadyPRINT Center now warns the administrator if he/she issues an assignment for a printer that has not been shared.
steadyPRINT Center: Display of current path for Active Directory view Analogous to the printing environment, the steadyPRINT Center now indicates the current path within the AD navigation.
Bug Fixes Description
steadyPRINT Center: AD objects cannot be opened for inaccessible domains It is not possible to open the assignment window for user and computer objects of an inaccessible domain. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Update of number of assignments in the tree is not up to date after assignments via context menu After adding a printer assignment via the context menu of the printer, the number of elements (in brackets behind the name) is not updated. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Update of the right-justified information display The information display is not always updated correctly when setting the “automatic printer connections” and IP filters. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Window adjustments when moving objects The window has been reviewed and smaller display errors removed.
steadyPRINT Center: Status of the printing environment partly incorrect In some rare constellations it may happen that the status of the child elements of the print server is incorrectly evaluated in the print server status display. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Success report of driver distribution in the background When distributing drivers to other systems, the success report is in the background. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Results of object search – below the Agent profiles, computer principals are partly incorrectly displayed Within the results of the object search it may happen that computer principals below Agent profiles are incorrectly displayed. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Error when deleting users already deleted in the AD When deleting users from the Center that have already been deleted from the AD, an error might occur. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Failure when setting assignment properties on folder level If an assignment is adjusted in the folder view (having an effect on all printers below), only the first assignment found is changed. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Open object search windows can only be closed via “X” in the header Open object search windows can only be closed via the “X” in the header. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: No header update on the window when adding a printer to a print server When adding printers to an existing print server, the header is not updated. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Deleting several print servers via the context menu of the child view not possible It is not possible to delete several print servers via the context menu of the child view. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Object search can partly not open inventoried computers that were found It is partly not possible to open inventoried computers from the object search. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Object search might not indicate all folders The object search might not indicate all folders. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Read-Only becomes access-denied permission on print server level Setting the Read-Only becomes the Access-Denied permission on print server level. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Center: Selection behavior in table for “automatic printer connection” partly unfavourable When specifying an “automatic printer connection”, a wrong printer might be selected due to the selection behaviour of the table. This problem has been fixed by adjusting the selection behaviour.
steadyPRINT Center: Sorting of printing environment in assignment wizard A printing environment that was possibly incorrectly sorted in the assignment wizard has been adjusted.
steadyPRINT Reporting: Automatically sent reports partly without content The data filter for the automatic sending of reports partly doesn’t work properly. Therefore a report document might be sent with empty content. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT Reporting: Confusing report view “printer with low toner level” The selected line separation was leading to an “unfavourable” view of the respective toner levels of a printer. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT VPD: In some cases paper tray control for Kyocera printer does not work via VPD settings dialog In some cases, the paper tray control for Kyocera printers does not work via the VPD settings dialog. This problem has been fixed.
steadyPRINT VPD: Assignment of security permissions for VPD printer visibility on terminal servers partly not possible In case of a multiple simultaneous access to the security settings for a VPD printer, the printer might not have been visible for the user. As a workaround, the restart of the Agent has fixed this problem.
